About Us
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated
to changing the world, one child and one community at
a time. Bloomington Kiwanis is dedicated to serving
local children through a variety of fundraising and
service projects.
Each summer, Bloomington Kiwanis sends approximately
130 at-risk children who have been identified as children
that would benefit to from a camping experience, to
Camp Limberlost at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center at Lake
Bloomington. Camp Limberlost is our main signature service
project and is supported by fundraisers throughout the
year including Pancake Days, Peanut Days, cheese sales,
golf outings and individual donations.
Bloomington Kiwanis is 120 members strong. A wide variety
of employers and occupations are represented. The club
meets every Monday at noon at the Bloomington Center
for the Performing Arts at 110 E. Mulberry Street, Bloomington.
Meetings consist of lunch, club announcements, and a
speaker who presents a topic of local or national interest.
Meetings adjourn no later than 1:00 p.m. Bloomington
Kiwanis offers opportunities for community service,
fellowship, teambuilding, networking and leadership.
Guests and potential members are always welcome!
